The editing standard
Two standards, both in writing.
A record stays a record: documentary work gets corrections, never changes to what the photograph shows. Portraits and creative work are retouched only as far as you agree. Try the edits.
Documentary standard
Permitted
Only with written disclosure
Not made on documentary work
Permitted: exposure, white balance and color correction, cropping, and lens correction. Sky replacement only with written disclosure.
Not permitted: removing, adding, or moving anything in frame; hiding damage or defects; altering a person’s or a place’s appearance.
If an edit would change what a viewer concludes about the scene, it is not made.
Virtual staging is delivered only as an additional set, disclosed in writing as virtually staged, beside the unaltered originals.
Creative standard
Included
Grade, by agreement
Not made
Retouching and stylistic grading are part of the craft, applied in a style and to an extent the client agrees to.
The photograph stays a recognizable, fair likeness of the person or product.
Included on every job: color and exposure correction. Included on headshots and portraits: skin smoothing. Anything beyond that is agreed up front.
The promise
Every job is held to the same written standard, whoever is behind the camera.
If a job falls short of it, we re-shoot at no cost or refund the shoot fee, your choice, within 7 days of delivery.
Booking questions
How a booking works.
How does booking work?
Tell us what you need photographed: on the booking form, by email at contact@snappedculture.com, or by phone at (480) 331-6252. We confirm in writing what you’ll receive and when, assign a local photographer to the job, and deliver the finished photographs.
There is one form for every kind of shoot. You don’t pick a photographer or a package; you describe the job, and we come back with the terms.
What do you confirm in writing before the shoot?
Every quote states, before the shoot, what you receive: the deliverables, the format, the delivery date, and the price.
Extras such as object removal, sky replacement, or virtual staging are quoted up front and disclosed in writing wherever they show in a photograph.
Who photographs my job?
We assign a local photographer. The assigned photographer’s first name is in your booking confirmation.
Every job is held to the same written standard, whoever is behind the camera. You book SnappedCulture, and SnappedCulture answers to you for the result.
How soon do the photographs arrive?
- Listing shoots: up to 25 edited images, delivered within 48 hours.
- Rentals (move-in and move-out documentation): a fixed room order and shot list, labeled photos, a short walkthrough video, and a PDF with date and address, delivered within 48 hours. Visual photo documentation only. Not a home inspection.
- Portrait and headshot sessions: a 1-hour session and 10 edited images, delivered within 72 hours.
- Lines quoted per job (weddings, engagements, events, company events, sports, team headshots, product and commercial work, venues, workplaces, architecture, pets, and nature): on the delivery date set in your written quote.
Finished photographs arrive by download link, never as email attachments.
What if the photographs fall short?
Every job is held to the same written standard, whoever is behind the camera. If a job falls short of it, we re-shoot at no cost or refund the shoot fee, your choice, within 7 days of delivery.
Before anything reaches you, every job is checked against that written standard. If something still slips through, SnappedCulture makes it right; we never send you to the photographer.
Where do you work?
SnappedCulture is based in Tempe, Arizona and photographs in Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler, Mesa, and Phoenix. Shoots happen on location: your home, your office, your venue, or the place you choose.
Can reference photos go with the request?
Yes. As you browse the site, tap a photograph to snap it onto your roll (you get 24 exposures). Open your contact sheet, circle the frames that feel right, and the booking form attaches them to your request.
You can also paste links into the “What do you need photographed?” field.
Will you post my photos on Instagram?
Only with your OK. We ask in writing at booking before sharing anything from your shoot, and no identifiable child appears without a parent’s or guardian’s written OK.
Ask us to take an image down and it comes down within 24 hours on every channel. No argument.
Why do some photographs say ARCHIVE?
Photographs taken before October 5, 2026 carry a visible ARCHIVE stamp with the year they were taken, on the image itself. Newer work carries no stamp, so you can always tell older work from recent jobs.
